Meet Dr. Ruth Kanthula, a board-certified pediatrician with extensive expertise in general pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. She is deeply committed to compassionate, family-centered care and takes pride in serving the communities of Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, and the surrounding areas. Dr. Kanthula has specialized experience caring for immunocompromised children and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of every child and family.
Originally from Malawi and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Kanthula earned degrees from the College of William & Mary, George Washington University, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev Medical School for International Health. Passionate about partnering with families, she is dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest health potential while making a meaningful impact in the local community.
