Our Pediatrician
Dr. Ruth Kanthula, a board-certified pediatrician, brings a wealth of expertise in general pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. Dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care, she proudly serves the communities of Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, and surrounding areas. With extensive experience caring for immunocompromised children, Dr. Kanthula tailors her approach to address the unique health needs of each child and family she supports.
Originally from Malawi and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Kanthula holds degrees from the College of William & Mary, George Washington University, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev Medical School for International Health. Her passion lies in partnering with families to help children achieve their best possible health outcomes while strengthening the local community.
