Our pediatrician, Dr. Ruth Kanthula, is board-certified and offers extensive expertise in general pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases, with a strong commitment to compassionate, family-centered care. She is proud to serve the communities of Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, and surrounding areas, bringing specialized experience in caring for immunocompromised children and customizing her approach to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
Originally from Malawi and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Kanthula earned degrees from the College of William & Mary, George Washington University, and Ben Gurion University of the Negev Medical School for International Health. Passionate about partnering with families, she is dedicated to helping children reach their fullest health potential while making a positive impact in the local community.
